Welcome to Mr. Bellomy's sixth grade class!  The highest goal in this room is to foster a love of learning in a safe learning community. Students are appreciated for their individual qualities and are motivated to face a challenge with a smile. You will find an integration of the arts within the classroom, and lessons experienced here cover several of the learning modalities as described by Howard Gardner. Lessons are differentiated to meet the students at their level and present them with a puzzle that they may find the pieces for. Grades are available on a secure online site for parents, and communication between school and home is highly promoted.  Success on the ISAT is a strong focus within this room, but the promotion of thinking skills, public speaking, and creativity will not be sacrificed.
